Just came from a field trip from La Mesa watershed and dam (na parang water sanitary station ng Manila Water Services)... Ok na sana yung trecking although I could see the point of coming there since wala namang special something na puwede naming gawin na project for our course. Puro puno, different species, both endemic and introduced. We even got to climb up a tower/patrol site na mahigit-kumulang three-four stories tall. Sayang si DeeAye, na naaawa rin ako kasi he came from an overnight party ng blockmate niya.. e since mainit at humid yung atmosphere kanina, nahilo tuloy siya.
After arriving at DLSU, akyat akong office to find my rock and love, my CyCy... tumuloy muna si DeeAye sa dorm... tapos si cK, Ruby and ellie naman ang naghihintay.
Ilang minuto pa, hours even bago ako ang interview ko. True, mayroon akong kaba but i try to turn the nervousness into positive energy. Being the most senior sa mga tumatakbo, medyo relaxed ako but I try to not be so relaxed na overconfident at feeling sure-shot na. Other than personal glory, I really do want to serve. It's in my blood, in my veins and beats in my heart. sa lahat ng naging decision ko sa buhay, ang pagsama sa Plaridel ang isa sa mga naging OK na desisyon ko. Laying-out, writing and serving is like second nature to me... Sana pagpalain ako.

While visiting cy's place kanina... I blurted out: "Year-end na!" which is not saying much except ang bilis ng panahon. It's the last moment for every EB member to say/feel/grasp their remaining days as section heads, bantays or managers...
Nakakalungkot yung scene sa bus last year-end nung palubog na yung araw... e makaharap lang kami ni peter (SINING ED 2003-2004, best EB ever... hehe, daming mag-aargue)... parang symbolic nung sunset kasi we've close a chapter of our life and the newspaper's history as another EB... parang kakaupo plang namin sa section head, heto't may mga napili na para humalili sa mga trono namin.
It won't be long... maririnig mo na kni ck, gene, anne, ruby (except JJ at DA, DA - APP EIC 2005-2011)... na mga dimakalet-go or nahihirapan umalis... it's a natural, sad and sometimes a bitter pill to take... being an editor is not a permanent job, you can't start your careers sa pangangareer ng pagiging editor... you just have to accept that the time for you to step down is now and that you've done your best.
Haha! Speaking of year-end... 4 1/2 months nalang at magkikita na naman kami ng beach (san ba DA?)... Hopefully this will be my last year as an undergraduate joining the annual teambuilding seminar....
The third term is just around the corner, and I'm beginning to smell scents of politics, intrigue and sometimes bad blood.... it's that time of the year called THE EB EXAM! Well, para sa mga tatakbo I just wanna wish you good luck, try your best to represent your section, be yourself and it won't make you a lesser person if you failed.
Just remember: "With great POWER comes great RESPONSIBILITY"

it's been a week of endless sickness. nagstart nung thursday with fever, bodyaches and nausea.. tapos nung weekend naman either diarrhea or lbm tapos it turned out na symptoms pala siya ng tigdas-hangin na finally lumabas kahapon (Monday)... good thing medyo tapos na mga requirement namin (except thesis).... had two "FINAL" exam yesterday and medyo optimistic naman ako...
Medyo masama na pakiramdam ko around noon yesterday and decided to go home early, too bad kay cy ko nagpalaanan yung masamang pakiramdam ko... all she was trying tto do was help me... (sorry darling...), she didn't deserve the attitude... I wasn't even grateful that she went to school kahit na may sakit din siya and wasn't feeling a hundred percent... all she wanted was to see me.
